Retail Redesign - Hogtown Extreme Sports
Hogtown Extreme sports is a shop located in Canada selling products from skateboards to BMXs and climbing gear, my project consisted of designing a flagship store for them. I wanted to create a store that would not only sell products but where you could book extreme sports holidays and more essentially I wanted it to be a place where people could just come and hang-out and get to know each-other, therefore creating a real community.
I wanted my design to be fun, innovating with an urban feel and ensuring that the store was not cluttered.
I designed new storage systems for the skateboards, shoes, wakeboards and snowboards. The ground floor can also be used for skateboard demonstrations as the clothing rails can be moved out of the way and I have also integrated ramps and railings in the layout for this purpose.
